Mayor & Council
City Hall – 358-3832
Mayor: Terry L. Cruse
On behalf of myself and the city council, I would like to welcome you to the city of Hodgenville.
At the present time we are revitalizing our downtown district with a major reconfiguration project aimed to beautify as well as redirect the traffic flow making our downtown a safer place to travel. We are also in the process of constructing our first civic center that when complete will house such offices as the Chamber of Commerce, LaRue County Genealogy Society, as well as offer a theater type setting available to serve the private and public sector.
Hodgenville has a variety of churches that will cater to most religious beliefs. Our school system is second to none offering a wide variety of academic challenges as well as extra-curricular activities. We offer a Senior Citizens Center with a variety of events for our seniors. We also have a sports center that hosts a swimming pool, baseball and soccer for all ages. We have walking trail/park that is open year-around, allowing our residents to have a safe place to walk and play.
Being a lifelong resident of Hodgenville and LaRue County, I feel there is no better place to live and raise a family in Kentucky than Hodgenville.
If you are looking for a place to relocate or just to visit, our many attractions and historic sites make the trip to Hodgenville a must.
Our City Council
Schedule: City Council meets 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00pm, Public Square at Chamber Room.
